Thoughts

A chapter in the story of my existence is coming to an end and I have mixed emotions. I'm anxious for it to be over but then again it brings certain sadness. An adventure never really ends; it merely sways about the many roads in life, opening doors to different outcomes. Unknown places and people, a new chapter is about to begin. In retrospect, I have grown, not changed as an individual, I keep my quirky style, but I've evolved from the girl who first stepped unto this path. It's always strange to say goodbye to a time, an era that formed the future me but it is as necessary as rain or shine and I'm curious to know where this path will lead me next. What doors or windows are open just waiting for me to cross into the next chapter? I may not be famous or rich, I may not impact many or anyone, but this is my life, my ups and downs, my accomplishments and my failures, which have moulded me and will continue to do so. I'm proud of what is about to come to conclusion, happy for the friends I have made, for the people who have guided me in times of self-doubt, those who reached out and told me never to give up. I owe much to you fine people and know that you have, forever, a place in my life. I didn't accomplish this myself, no and I am grateful to those who cared enough to share this journey with me. As I gaze upon the rising sun of this new day, I know I'm not alone. I take on this new road with sure footing, happy, grateful and hopeful for a bright future. Thanks to all who made a difference in my life, you know who you are and I'll be sure to thank you in person!
